Jim B had filled the freezer with Zooper
Doopers this time, thanks Jim, and they
were very welcome again.
We then had a lazy afternoon of Christmas cheer as the dark clouds rolled in
and it rained. Real rain. Actual measurable rain. More than 2 spots of rain rain.
So much rain that Dan & Sharon’s
camper was leaking, poor old thing probably hadn’t ever been up in the rain. No
matter, it was cooling and the therapeutic sound of rain on a tin roof was the
perfect backdrop for Christmas nibbles.
Jim had some goat salami and that was
good too. Who doesn’t love cheese and
salami.
Unfortunately, Keith had to make his
way home for range duty at his local club
on Sunday, so we bid him farewell for
2025.

Lindsay and Dawn dropped in for a visit.
Thank you, Dawn, for the pavlova, delicious. Lindsay has been working on
making more mounds, the 700 was near
completion and a “small” limb had been
cleared to ensure safety. Progress had
halted due to an excavator part not arriving on time.

We had a great night of eating and being
merry and listening to the rain.
