Secretary’s Secretary’s Say
What a good year we have had. We
started not knowing if we would have a
range for more dates than Nioka and we
have found a great range and great
hosts. Our heartfelt thanks to Lindsay &
Dawn. Lindsay had hoped to have all the
mounds done for us for the weekend but
had mechanical problems, and rain.
Thank to everyone for helping, we have
had some cracking weekends, and everyone keeps improving their scores.
Thank you to all our members for working with the muzzleloaders, we all know
there are not too many places with the
distances and targets and the match
time was much appreciated.
Our best wishes to those with health issues, we hope you are keeping as best
you can.
Other events on at the same range are
Gallery Rifle 14-15th January and Scoped
Silhouette 16-18th January.
The proposed 2026 calendar will be sent
out with this newsletter. With Dubbo
still an uncertainty, we will continue on
as is for the moment.
Secretary’s Say
If anyone is thinking about the BPCR silhouette at Majura and would like to have
a go at the .22 match but don’t have a
suitable rifle, let me know as I have a
couple of “spares”.
It was great to catch up with folks on the
weekend, and we look forward to 2026.
BRAA would like to wish everyone a
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I received a lovely message from Mrs
Baker wishing the “Buffalos” a Merry
Christmas.
Woo hoo, it’s nearly Christmas
Discussion amongst those present on the
weekend was to skip January at Wellington as it was still in the Christmas period. Quite a few are planning on attending the ACT BPCR State Titles be held at
the Majura Range in Canberra on Monday 19th January. All the details are in
the latest SSAA journal and online.
God bless Black Powder!
