Here’s a real oddball for you. Member Charles was over visiting a friend who has this gun very
unusual .44 calibre and the name of the gun is an Allan and Wheelock. Allen and Wheelock was
based in Massachusetts and produced these 昀椀rearms in the 1850-1860 time frame. This ri昀氀e
represents a signi昀椀cant piece of American 昀椀rearms history.
The small holes in the action are to raise the sights to 1,000 yards.
