in the Books!

for everyone. Education on notable
figures in our single shot history
was provided along with materials
presented by The American Single
Shot Rifle Association. All organizations with an interest in single
shot rifles are invited to set up a
booth to promote their mission and
interests.
I am pleased to report The Inaugural Single Shot Rimfire National
Match was a success. This is based
on feedback from participants, volunteers and those who helped me
out along the way.

When I step back and take a look at
the event, I agree that it was a success. Single Shot Rifle enthusiasts
from all over the country travelled
to The Ben Avery Shooting Facility
in Phoenix, Arizona for 4 days of
fun in the sun. Participants with
varied levels of experience and diverse interests were in attendance.
Seasoned, accomplished and brand
new shooters participated in the
event. Multiple shooting disciplines
including benchrest, BPCR and
Schuetzen were represented.
The matches are only a part of the
event. The swap meet which is
