TARGET RIFLE
March 2 – March 9, 2027
Two Categories, Muzzle Loader Ri昀氀e and Black Powder Cartridge Ri昀氀e.
All Target Ri昀氀e Events may be shot from any position including bench. Shooters to provide bench,
cross sticks or rest, no rear bag. Competitors shall pull targets. Pit change each relay.
All shooting each day from one 昀椀ring point, Relay One left of 昀椀ring point pin, Relay Two right of 昀椀ring
point pin. Shooters may leave equipment on 昀椀ring line between relays, (except ri昀氀es), which must
be secured behind 昀椀ring lines. Open Bolt Indicators Required for Cartridge Ri昀氀es when moving to
and from 昀椀ring line and/or ri昀氀es left in open behind 昀椀ring line. When moving, keep muzzles pointed
upward.
Competitors may use cross sticks, wrist rests and/or sling. Cast or swaged lead alloy bullets only, no
gas checks. Black Powder and/or Pyrodex only. No convertible sighters. Use only cartridge
seaters designed for that purpose.
Ri昀氀eman Shooters, limit 4 sighters, 1st to hit paper is sighter #1. No wind coaching, scorer only.
Pit Service will mark all shots 昀椀red & indicate misses on the target face for all shooters.
PRE ENTRY TO THIS EVENT IS MANDATORY
SHOOTERS MEET EACH DAY AT DESIGNATED FIRING LINE AT 8:00 AM.
March 2 .22 Long Ri昀氀e chambered ri昀氀es with .22 Long Ri昀氀e ammunition only.
A.- All shooting from 200 yard 昀椀ring line. 3x15 shots = 45 shot aggregate.
B.- Standard 200 yard target, reduced 300 & 600 yard targets.
C.- Two classes, .22 BPTR Ri昀氀e, and .22 Open Ri昀氀e, iron or scope sights.
D.- .22 BPTR Ri昀氀es, Cross sticks, Wrist Rest, Bench; Open class; sand bags are the
only barrel support allowed, may use bench. Please provide your own sandbags.
Load all .22 ri昀氀es single shot.
E.- 15 shots for record each target, maximum 4 sighters EACH DISTANCE.
F.- Pit change after each 50 minute 15 shot relay. (25 minutes each shooter)
NOTE: Relay 1 200, relay 2 200 & 300, relay 1 300 & 600, relay 2 600
G.- Walk on .22 shooters are exempt administration fee. Enter at 昀椀ring line day of
match with exact change ($40.00 Cash U.S. Currency) to receive score cards.
40 Maximum number of shooters, Ironman entries get priority squadding.
.22 WALK ON SHOOTERS, Encouraged to PRE-ENTER.
